PATH follows a user-centered and iterative methodology that combines technical development with clinical validation. The project will use an agile development framework where healthcare professionals, researchers, patients, and AI developers continuously provide feedback to ensure that the solutions meet real clinical needs.
The development process includes landscape analysis, identification of barriers to AI adoption, system architecture design, technology development, and validation through clinical studies.
Special emphasis is placed on interoperability, privacy protection, explainable AI, and compliance with European regulations such as GDPR, the AI Act, and the European Health Data Space.
The project integrates AI models, data harmonization tools, and a unified dashboard into a single platform that allows secure processing of health data and supports clinical decision-making.
