The PATH-IHI project is committed to protecting users’ privacy and is developing technology that gives the most powerful and safe online experience. The PATH website falls under the responsibility of the PATH Consortium and is concerned with the dissemination and exchange of information about the research conducted in the course of the project and the outcome of this work. 1. POLICY SCOPE
This Privacy Policy applies to this website https://www.path-ihi.eu and it applies regardless of the type of device used for visiting the website (computer, mobile phone, tablet, TV or other).

Unless stated otherwise in detail in the relevant sections of the website, Personal Data generated from the use of our website is processed as follows:
(i) Contact via electronic mail (e-mail)
In the case of communication with PATH-IHI Project by use of the email info@path-ihi.eu, the name as well as the mailing address of the sender are transmitted. This data is collected and required for the purpose of the communication. Without this information, answering to received messages is not possible.
(ii) Social Media
PATH website contains links to other organizations (Linkedin, Mastodon, Youtube), through icons/buttons. These other organizations may receive and use personal data about users’ visit to our site. While browsing PATH website, information they collect may be connected to users’ account on their sites. (iii) Site visitation tracking
PATH website uses Google Analytics (GA) to track user interaction and for statistical reasons. This data is used to determine the number of people visiting the site, and the way different landing pages are used.
Although GA records data such as visitors’ geographical location, device, internet browser and operating system, none of this information personally identifies individuals. Visitors’ IP address is anonymized by GA services and cannot be used to personally identify a visitor. Google is considered to be a third party.
GA makes use of cookies, details of which can be found on Google’s developer guides. Disabling cookies on the internet browser will stop GA from tracking any visit to pages within PATH website.
3. DATA STORAGE
Submitting contact details via the preferred email message, results to sender’s personal data (name and email address) being stored. These contact details are securely stored, accessed by authorized personnel and shared with no one. This is currently the only occasion where personal data will be stored by PATH website.
State-of-the-art technology is used for data storage. The following safeguards are used, for example, to protect your personal data from misuse or any form of unauthorized processing:
Access to personal data is restricted to a limited number of authorized persons for the stated purposes.
The IT systems used for processing data are technically isolated from other systems to prevent unauthorized access and hacking.
Access to these IT systems is constantly monitored to detect and prevent misuse in the early stages.
